It is the ongoing conversation we have in our minds, whether conscious or subconscious. Self-talk can involve thoughts, beliefs, and interpretations about ourselves, others, and the world around us. Self-talk can be categorized into two main types: positive self-talk and negative self-talk. Positive self-talk involves optimistic and empowering thoughts that build self-confidence, motivation, and a positive mindset. It often includes affirmations, encouraging statements, and focusing on strengths and accomplishments. Positive self-talk can help boost self-esteem, enhance resilience, and contribute to overall well-being.
